  1. Increasing Employee Performance and Productivity.
    Course Overview

    To increase employee performance, you must manage employee performance. Performance management is an important process in any organization because it is about the everyday actions and behaviors people use to improve and assess the value of their contributions for achieving the organization’s mission, vision, and goals. This process cannot be separate from other management processes but must become an integral, homogeneous part of the processes. To improve and increase productivity/performance, individuals must have a shared understanding of what is expected of them, how they are to achieve the expectations, and how they are going to be evaluated against the expected outcomes.
Course Outcomes
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Restate the importance of aligning the organization’s needs with the needs of employees.
  • Use their role in assessing employees’ contributions in line with the organization’s mission.
  • Develop coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Communicate performance objectives.
  • Demonstrate how to give constructive feedback and prepare employees to receive feedback.
  • Document performance of individuals.
  • Identify performance gaps and provide solutions.
  • Apply techniques to prepare, deliver, and follow-up on the performance appraisal review.

  1. Coaching From Within.
    Course Overview

    Keeping employees engaged and motivated has always been a challenge. What motivates 1 may not motivate another. According to the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), only “25% of employers have an engagement strategy”. So, needless to say, there are a lot of unmotivated and unengaged employees out there! This course will share do-able, realistic strategies that can be utilized immediately to get the best from your employees.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Understand the definition and importance of employee engagement and motivation.
  • Help team members develop their career.
  • Understand the difference between coaching and mentoring.
  • Understand the benefits of coaching and mentoring.

  • Develop an Action Plan for continuous improvement.
  1. Three Drivers of Motivation and Engagement.
    Course Overview
    Workplace motivation varies among employees. While money may motivate some, it is not the primary factor for many. This course covers three main drivers of motivation: psychological safety, psychological availability, and psychological meaningfulness and their role in maintaining employee motivation and engagement.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand three primary drivers of employee motivation.
  • Recognize the impact of employee engagement.
  • Identify ways to show supportive behavior.
  • Create a work environment where employees feel respected and safe.
  • Develop a strategic plan to keep employees motivated and engaged.
  1. Overcoming Compassion Fatigue.
    Course Overview
    There is a difference between burnout, stress and compassion fatigue.  This session helps participants recognize compassion fatigue early and identify practical ways to protect their well-being while continuing to care effectively for others, so that they can have increased energy, empathy, and job satisfaction. Rather than focusing on diagnosis or theory alone, this experience centers on providing awareness and concrete actions.
Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand what compassion fatigue is and how it differs from burnout.
  • Understand how it can affect workplace and homelife productivity.
  • Recognize early warning signs in themselves and others.
  • Apply practical strategies to reduce or overcome compassion fatigue.
  1. Foundation of Effective Communication.
    Course Overview
    Effective communication isn’t about using one “right” style. It’s about understanding differences and adapting in the moment. This interactive session introduces participants to common communication styles and helps them better understand their own preferences and tendencies. Participants will explore how pace, task focus, and relationship orientation shape communication, and how mismatches can lead to misunderstanding or friction at work.

    This foundational session emphasizes awareness, appreciation of differences, and practical tips that participants can apply immediately in everyday conversations.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand common communication styles and what each style needs to communicate effectively.
  • Understand their own preferred communication style and how it shows up at work.
  • Utilize practical tips for adapting communication to work more effectively with different styles’
  • Increase awareness of how communication differences can impact collaboration, teamwork, relationships and conflict.
  1. Networking That Works.
    Course Overview
    Networking That Works is designed to equip participants with foundational networking skills that are relevant in professional settings. Participants will gain an understanding of the value of networking and learn where and how to find meaningful networking opportunities. The session will cover strategies for being “politically savvy” when building professional relationships and guide participants in crafting an authentic and impactful Elevator Pitch. Participants will engage in fun, high-energy rotational exercises to practice their pitch, ensuring they can deliver it confidently and effectively. Additionally, participants will develop a strategy for sustaining productive relationships and outline a Next Steps plan to initiate or enhance their networking efforts.

  • Explain the value of networking.
  • Develop a personal networking strategy.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Handle networking challenges.
  • Use social media platforms to maximize networking.
  • Create a long-term networking plan.
  1. Creating a Vision Board for Your Goals.
    Course Overview
    Reaching your goals becomes much easier when you can visualize them clearly. A vision board is an inspiring tool that helps individuals plan and pursue their ideal life. By applying the S.M.A.R.T. goal-setting framework, this course offers participants a lively and hands-on discussion and plenty of opportunities to build a strong network and support system. This session will guide participants through the design and creation of a vision board that not only clarifies their objectives but also supports them in achieving those goals. Participants will need to bring poster board and goal images/pictures to class.
Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and clearly articulate personal and professional goals using the S.M.A.R.T. framework.
  • Understand the purpose and benefits of vision boards in goal achievement.
  • Design and create a personalized vision board that visually represents individual aspirations.
  • Engage in interactive discussions and activities to foster a supportive network for goal attainment.
  • Develop a clear action plan to leverage the vision board as a motivational and accountability tool.
