LMJA has developed these courses to address current issues. Courses are created in various time periods for ease, efficiency and retention. Our new courses address the needs of employees, staff, managers, leaders and team members. The descriptions provide information on the role of participants. Please review our selection below.

NEW COURSES AVAILABLE 2026
IMPACT60 ONE-HOUR COURSES. These instructor-led courses are offered to participants in condensed 60-minute sessions. They focus on relevant topics and provide key skills and tools.
Who are these courses for? Courses 1, 2, 3 and 4 are designed for all employees; courses 5, 6, 7 and 8 are designed for supervisors, managers and team leads.

- Overcoming Compassion Fatigue (All Employees). Working in care-giving environments has many rewards, but over time it can also take an emotional toll on employees in the helping fields. From being exposed to traumas, emergencies or resistant clients or patients, employees can experience what has been called “compassion fatigue.”
- Effective Communication Foundations (All Employees). Effective communication isn’t about using one “right” style. It’s about understanding differences and adapting in the moment.
- Adapting To Change (All Employees). Change is constant at work, but that doesn’t make it easy. This session helps participants make sense of change.
- Leading From Where You Are (All Employees). Leadership is found at all levels. It is not a position, but an attitude. This session helps participants recognize what is necessary to lead from any role.
- Creating an Inclusive Environment (Supervisors, Managers and Team Leads). Inclusion isn’t a policy or program; it’s a mindset, and it involves intentional, daily behaviors. This session helps leaders understand what inclusion looks like on a daily basis.
- Change Management Fundamentals (Supervisors, Managers and Team Leads). Change is inevitable, but how leaders respond to change directly shapes how their teams experience it. In this session we discuss how change affects all individuals.
- Conflict Management: Managing Expectations (Supervisors, Managers and Team Leads). The pre-requisite required for this course is the completion of the Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) workshop. (Note: if you don’t have a report, we can provide the assessment prior to the training).While conflict can stem from many causes, a large number of the conflicts people face are a result from unmet or unclear expectations. This workshop invites managers, supervisors and team leads to reflect on and practice navigating common employee conflict conversations.
- The Three Drivers of Motivation: A Leadership Series of 3, 60-minute Workshops (Supervisors, Managers and Team Leads). These 3 sessions discuss the three core psychological drivers: psychological safety, psychological meaningfulness, and psychological availability.
HALF-DAY COURSES. Typically offered from 9 am – 12 pm; or 1 pm – 4 pm). Times may be flexible depending on the need.

- Increasing Employee Performance and Productivity. Individuals must have a shared understanding of what is expected of them, how they are to achieve the expectations, and how they are going to be evaluated against the expected outcomes.
- Coaching From Within. This course will share do-able, realistic strategies that can be utilized immediately to get the best from your employees.
- Three Drivers of Motivation and Engagement. This course covers three main drivers of motivation: psychological safety, psychological availability, and psychological meaningfulness and their role in maintaining employee motivation and engagement.
- Overcoming Compassion Fatigue. How to recognize compassion fatigue early and identify practical ways to protect their wellbeing.
- Foundation of Effective Communication. This interactive session introduces participants to common communication styles and helps them better understand their own preferences and tendencies.
- Networking That Works. Equips participants with foundational networking skills that are relevant in professional settings.
- Creating a Vision Board for Your Goals. Learn about an inspiring tool that helps individuals plan and pursue their ideal life.

- Career Empowerment Strategies: Unlocking Your Full Potential. This course is designed to help managers, supervisors and team members gain valuable self-insight and enhance their ability to collaborate with others.
- Optimizing Team Performance Through Cliftonstrengths (For Intact Teams). Participants will utilize feedback from their Cliftonstrengths assessment tool to identify areas where they can maximize both individual and team strengths.
Business Writing For High Impact Clarity. Participants will apply techniques for purposeful, results-focused writing using techniques for clarity, conciseness, completeness, and correct writing for the target audience
